We went to the Rural Life Museum the other day. The kids had so much fun roaming around the gardens we didn't even make it to the museum part.

This was actually our way of passing the day since Marshall didn't get home until bedtime today. Needless to say they all had fun jumping in their beds.

One year ago

Here is a picture of Cole & Jacob that was taken a year ago. I can't believe how much they've changed!! Cole is on the left in this picture (as usual - we never plan it that way but somehow it always ends up w/ Jacob on the right, Cole on the left).

Owen took this. The camera is bigger than his head but he held it like a pro & every picture he took was in focus!

He was watching the sky change colors before bed. We don't have a great view of the sunset but we do get some pretty pink skies over our yard in the evening.

Vacation to North Carolina

Owen's Birthday Party

Here are some pictures from Owen's 4th birthday party. Of course the theme was Star Wars (what else would it be????) & all of his best friends were there. Except Landon, of course, because he was at the gym. ;-)

FYI: I overheard them discussing their birthday parties recently & that's the reason Landon gave for not being at Owen's. Nevermind the fact that he lives across the country!

Our little blog

This blog is long overdue! Hopefully it will be a good way to keep everyone updated on what's going on with our family since it's impossible to talk to & see everyone as much as we'd like. Of course I'll also share lots of pictures of the kids & probably a few of me & Marshall. I'll probably keep the blog private, but if you know anyone who'd like to read it just let me know so I can invite them.

And just for smiles, here are a couple of pictures of Jacob & Cole from today. Owen is at Nana's or there'd probably be some of him, too.
